The German ADAC Truckservice and the Austrian Service 24 have formed a new European mobility service partnership for the commercial vehicle sector.

The 50:50 joint venture named 24/7 GmbH, which will operate on the market under the 24/7 ASSISTANCE brand in the future, is to act as a holding to bundle sales, marketing and product development for both companies’ services. 24/7 ASSISTANCE will thus have direct access to a network of more than 40,000 authorized workshops in all European countries.

In the future, ADAC Truckservice and Service 24 will focus on the qualitative expansion of the infrastructure and become part of the 24/7 ASSISTANCE brand as independent national service companies.

The new company is headquartered in Salzburg, Austria. Satellites are located in Germany, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Poland, Romania and Hungary. The competition authority gave its approval in March. The official foundation took place on July 15 in Salzburg. Business operations will start in January 2022.

The company’s dual leadership is formed by managing directors Jarno Bor (Service 24) and Dirk Fröhlich (ADAC Truckservice).

“24/7 ASSISTANCE pursues a clear strategy. We are growth-oriented and, as the European champion, we want to set the gold standard in roadside assistance and mobility management for commercial vehicles. The name 24/7 ASSISTANCE reflects the brand’s DNA. Service around the clock, one-stop and to a consistent standard, wherever our customers are located. That’s why we are jointly driving the qualitative expansion of our European networks, focusing on internationalization, specialization, future-proof technologies and efficient processes,” says Dirk Fröhlich, Managing Director of ADAC Truckservice.

“The demands made by new drive technologies and modern vehicle engineering are just as strong as the customer’s demand on reliable, efficient one-stop mobility solutions. We do not only want to remain competitive in this market segment, we intend to use the power of both brands to further develop the best and most efficient service networks for all aspects of commercial vehicle mobility. This will make us more attractive to customers and partners,” says Jarno Bor, Managing Director of Service 24 and responsible for sales at 24/7 ASSISTANCE.

24/7 ASSISTANCE will integrate the product portfolios of the two parent companies. This includes roadside assistance and mobility services as well as 1st level support for transport and logistics, agricultural machinery and industry, Europe-wide 24/7 roadside assistance for trucks, trailers, buses, light commercial vehicles as well as agricultural vehicles and construction machinery, service products and mobility packages as well as prepaid payment solutions and payment protection solutions for vehicle manufacturers (OEMs) and fleet operators. In addition, the focus lies on the expansion of existing service networks into a European mobility management system based on quality criteria.
