From 9 to 12 September 2026, Eppelheim in the Rhine-Neckar region of Germany will become an international meeting point for professional drivers as it hosts the 33rd UICR Professional Driver World Championship (PDWC 2026).
On 29 July 2026, our host organisation, MSC Eppelheim e.V. im ADAC, held a press conference to introduce the upcoming World Championship and provide an insight into the preparations for this major international event.
The press conference highlights the importance of PDWC 2026 for Eppelheim and the wider region, while also presenting the values at the heart of the UICR Professional Driver World Championship: professionalism, road safety, driving skill, precision and international friendship.
More Than a Competition
The UICR Professional Driver World Championship brings together professional commercial drivers from different countries and transport sectors to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and responsibility required in modern professional driving.
Competitors will be challenged across a range of disciplines, including:
