Begoma Spedition will unveil a Dymaxa-equipped Berger Ecotrail semi-trailer at Elmia Lastbil Exhibition in Sweden, extending its rollout of Dymaxa aerodynamic skirts
The move follows a successful pilot in which Begoma equipped PNO Trailer Rental semi-trailers with Dymaxa side skirts. After running the skirts across everyday operations, Begoma has completed a follow-up purchase and extended the rollout further across its fleet.
The double-axle, sloping-roof Berger Ecotrail semi-trailer will be exhibited at Elmia Lastbil in Jönköping from 19-22 August 2026, before entering service on a long-haul route between Sweden and Italy. The skirts were installed at leading German trailer manufacturer, Berger Ecotrail
Begoma’s decision to scale up is grounded in six months of real-world experience. The skirts have been operated through demanding intermodal transport and Swedish winter conditions. Throughout, there was no operational downtime, no damage from forklift side-loading, and no issues with damage from tight loading docks.

Dymaxa side skirts reduce aerodynamic drag to lower fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions on diesel trucks, while extending the range of electric trucks. Independent testing by AVL, using the EU’s official VECTO method, has validated fuel savings of 4-5%. For Begoma, the rollout supports the company’s Agenda 2030 ambitions and its target to cut CO₂ emissions by 50 percent by 2030.
Visitors to Elmia Lastbil (19–22 August 2026) will be able to see the equipped trailer on display before it begins commercial operations on the Sweden–Italy corridor.
