CILT to host Returning to Work with COVID-19 course

The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT) Skillnet will host a number of COVID-19 Training Courses via Zoom in the coming weeks.

As business gets back on its feet, staff and customers need to be protected as much as possible. Certain protocols and procedures must be prepared and followed to fulfil legal obligations. To assist businesses with this CILT Skillnet will deliver a suite of COVID-19 training courses to help educate companies and keep them compliant as they open for business and return to work.

Returning to Work with COVID-19

All organisations will be required to introduce new health and safety measures. The Returning to Work with COVID-19 training course will provide employers and managers with a framework to prepare and plan for the practicalities of a safe return to work for employees, contractors, suppliers, customers and visitors.

COVID-19 Designated Person

Wise and prudent will ensure that the employee’s workplace is ready to reopen with a trained COVID-19 Designated Person. The COVID-19 Designated Person training course will give the workplace’s designated person an overview of the role, what is required of them and a list of safety considerations for the workplace they will have to implement, monitor, review and report on.

Participants of all courses will receive checklists and links to additional resources. In addition, Certificates of Completion will be emailed to all verified participants.

Subsidised cost is €20 per person.
