A strong ray of sunshine is about to beam across the Citywest Hotel Dublin complex as Sunshine Radio (106.8 fm) broadcasts live from the Fleet Transport Exhibition Arena from noon on Thursday, 11 October 2018.
Sponsored by The Harris Group, presenters from the extremely popular easy listening radio station, along with representatives from the event organisers Fleet Transport magazine and The Harris Group, will be on hand to meet and greet exhibitors and visitors.
Among the vehicle premieres on display at the Fleet Transport Exhibition Area will be the European debut of the new Sitrak C5H.250 18 tonne rigid truck, another example from the Chinese manufacturer Sinotruk, assembled and marketed by The Harris Group in Dublin. The Harris Group will also display a selection of the latest model trucks and Pick-ups from Isuzu, as well as a range of LDV vans.
Peugeot will showcase its new generation Partner having just won the International Van of the Year 2019 as well as its 3008 CD van, while FUSO Ireland presents the national premiere of the all-electric eCanter light truck. Mitsubishi Ireland will also have the new Outlander PHEV on show.
The finalists for the Fleet Transport Irish Truck of the Year 2091 award, sponsored by Corrib Oil, will take pride of place at the top of the main Citywest Hotel car park. They include contenders from all of the leading truck brands. Also featuring prominently will be a selection of zero-emission trucks, vans and SUV commercials displayed at the dedicated Electric City Avenue section. The Harris Group is providing the opportunity to test drive the award-winning electric LDV EV80 vans a ‘Last Mile’ green delivery route from the Citywest Hotel carpark.

Visitors to the Exhibition arena can also step into the Road Safety Authority’s (RSA) Mobile Information Unit and experience the Roll Over Simulation, with representatives from the RSA on board to advise and promote safety in transport and motoring in general.
