Naas headquartered Dennison Trailers exhibited at Solutrans 2019 for the first time. It marks the manufacturer’s first steps into the French market. Held at the Eurexpo in Lyon, the event attracted visitors from Spain, Portugal and Italy and provided Dennison with the opportunity to expand into these markets having secured buoyant business in Scandinavia, Czech Republic and Germany.
“At Solutrans, we showcased our Link Megatrailer’ trailer chassis-designed for the EC 96/53 directive -allowing a length of 25.25 m and a gross weight of 60 tonnes. Several European countries have already approved this directive locally and are seeing the huge cost and efficiency savings – as well environmental benefits in reduced CO2emissions,” explained David Dennison, Innovation Director at the event.
Dennison has been at the forefront of design with this Mega trailer chassis and at Solutrans introduced its latest developments to give drivers enhanced turning capabilities. This is in addition to the Link’s already patented roller system – giving unrivalled operational efficiency.
Also at the Eurexpo, Dennison displayed its range of Container chassis. These niche trailers offer efficiency and time saving solutions to the haulage industry – especially those in Intermodal operations, according to David.
As a family company, Dennison prides itself in the quality of its trailers and is proud to offer a five year guarantee in construction and paint finish. “We love to listen to its customers on their trailer needs and expectations and can often offer tailor-made solutions at flexible order levels,” he concluded.
Another example from the Dennison Trailer portfolio was displayed outside the venue on the Megalift stand.
