Autostrade per l’Italia S.p.A., concessionaire of the largest motorway network in Italy, has signed the contract for the implementation of the DKV BOX ITALIA for digital settlement of toll for commercial vehicles over 3.5 tonnes. With a road network of over 3,000 km, Autostrade per l’Italia operates more than half of the toll-based motorways in Italy. The signing of this contract opens the way to DKV Euro Service becoming a toll service provider certified by the Italian Association for Motorway and Tunnel Concessionaires (AISCAT). DKV BOX EUROPE is also to be approved and added in the near future.

The Italian toll stations concerned have been upgraded with the necessary soft- and hardware especially for this Press Release 2 purpose. Special toll lanes show the driver in which lane the DKV BOX ITALIA can be used.
