Leading telematics provider Webfleet Solutions and sustainable mobility solutions specialist Bridgestone have teamed up with the organisers of ITT Hub to create an interactive live theatre at this summer’s inaugural trade show.

ITT Hub Electric Mobility Theatre will be one of the new features introduced to enhance the visitor experience, bringing presentations and digital content in a COVID-secure live seated theatre throughout the two-day event.

With technology, fleet management, environment and safety at the core of fleet transport operations, the feature will bring live content delivered by key industry leaders. Presentations will take place six times per day in a specially created seated theatre in the heart of the exhibition hall.

The programme includes:

  • Episode I – Commercial EV data insights
Presented by Taco van der Leij (VP Webfleet Solutions / Bridgestone Mobility Solutions)
  • Episode II – The Lightyear One Solar Project and Bridgestone EV Tyre Technologies
Presented by Simone Rando (Head of Consumer Tyre Development at Bridgestone Technical Center) and Greg Ward (Commercial Business Unit Director – Bridgestone North Europe region)
  • Episode III – Using telematics data insights to confidently switch to commercial EVs. (Presented by Richard Parker – UKI EV Expert at Webfleet Solutions).
Greg Ward, Commercial Business Unit Director for Bridgestone North Europe region, said: “BRIDGESTONE IS NOT ONLY A PREMIUM TYRE MANUFACTURER, BUT ALSO A MOBILITY SOLUTIONS PROVIDER FOR COMMERCIAL FLEETS. OUR PRESENCE AT THE ITT HUB GIVES US THE PERFECT PLATFORM TO COMMUNICATE THIS IN AN EVER-CHANGING WORLD.

“OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH LIGHTYEAR ONE, WHICH WE WILL BRING TO LIFE AT ITT HUB, IS AN EXAMPLE OF THE GIANT STRIDES WE ARE MAKING IN SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS FOR AN ELECTRIC WORLD. ALSO ON SHOWCASE IS OUR NEW U-AP 002 BUS AND COACH TYRE THAT HAS BEEN SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED TO MEET THE NEEDS OF AN ELECTRIC FLEET. ITS SUPERIOR ROLLING RESISTANCE AND CO2 LEVELS REFLECT THE EVER-CHANGING WORLD OF TRANSPORT.

“THESE CHANGES ARE HERE TO STAY, AND WE ARE DELIGHTED TO HAVE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO PRESENT THEM TO SUCH A SIGNIFICANT COMMERCIAL AUDIENCE, WHICH COULDN’T BE MORE RELEVANT TO US.”

CEO Binswood Media Mark Griffin, organisers of ITT Hub, added: “WITH OVER 23 VEHICLE MANUFACTURERS TAKING PART, ITT HUB WILL BE THE LARGEST SHOW IN THE ROAD TRANSPORT SECTOR IN THE UK IN OVER 35 YEARS SINCE THE MOTOR SHOW IN OVER THE MID 80’S. WE ARE ABSOLUTELY THRILLED TO HAVE SUCH TWO SUCH RENOWNED AND LEADING BRANDS PARTNERING WITH US ON THIS.

“THE THEME OF THE EVENT IS INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY IN TRANSPORT WHICH IS SYNONYMOUS WITH WEBFLEET SOLUTIONS AND BRIDGESTONE. EVENTS ARE NO LONGER ABOUT JUST ‘KICKING THE TYRES’. THOSE DAYS ARE LONG GONE. WE WANT TO BRING THE EVENT TO LIFE WITH AN ENHANCED VISITOR EXPERIENCE AND GIVE EVERYONE THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN ABOUT SOME OF THE FANTASTIC DEVELOPMENTS ACROSS THE MARKET.

“ITT HUB ELECTRIC MOBILITY THEATRE WILL BE YET ANOTHER REASON ON THE GROWING LIST OF BENEFITS OF COMING ALONG TO FARNBOROUGH TO VISIT ITT HUB.”
