The new VIN Check expands on this functionality: the Partner Portal now also enables a quick compatibility check for items based on the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). The feature is available both before and after logging in and helps users to select the right parts with confidence, avoid purchasing the wrong items and increase transparency when choosing parts.
Particularly handy: the VIN check is available even before you log in. This allows you to check vehicle and part compatibility quickly and easily at an early stage of the procurement process. As our distribution partner, you benefit from an additional way to efficiently verify part identification and provide your customers with even more targeted support.
Once the VIN has been entered, the vehicle details are automatically retrieved and displayed. The system then checks whether the selected item is compatible with the vehicle. In the search results and on the product details page, you can see at a glance whether an item is suitable for the selected vehicle.
