Fontaine Fifth Wheel Europe is pleased to announce its return to the Road Transport Expo 2026, continuing its presence at one of the UK’s leading commercial vehicle industry events, where it will showcase its latest developments in fifth wheel and landing gear technology.

The company’s return underlines its ongoing commitment to advancing safety, efficiency and reliability across the transport sector, with a focus on practical innovations that support fleet operators in everyday operations.
Showcasing three exhibits, Fontaine is highlighting a range of key technologies designed to improve operational safety, reduce manual handling and increase flexibility across a wide variety of fleet applications.
The 3000FFH dual height air operated fifth wheel is designed to give operators enhanced flexibility through adjustable coupling height, allowing compatibility with a wide range of trailer configurations.
The air operated system reduces the need for manual intervention, supporting safer working practices while helping to reduce driver fatigue and improve operational efficiency.
At home in demanding fleet environments, says Fontaine, the 3000FFH system is designed for consistent performance and durability in daily use.
Also featured will be the 150SP2 fifth wheel mounted on 230mm feet and fitted with Fontaine’s Green Eye safety system, on an air operated slider configuration. The 150SP2 itself is a mechanical fifth wheel, with the Green Eye providing a clear visual indication of correct coupling engagement.
This says Fontaine, helps reduce the risk of incorrect or unsafe trailer attachment and supports safer, faster coupling checks without reliance on manual inspection alone. The mounting configuration also provides greater installation flexibility across a range of chassis types.
Completing the display will be the landing leg 20008884 with integrated compensator. The heavy-duty landing leg is engineered to improve stability during trailer coupling and uncoupling, with the compensator helping to accommodate uneven ground conditions.
According to Fontaine, this results in improved load distribution, reduced stress on equipment and enhanced safety for operators working in variable yard environments.
“It’s great to be back once again at Road Transport Expo,” says Steve Marshall, UK Sales Manager for Fontaine Fifth Wheel Europe. “It’s a really important event in the UK transport calendar and gives us the opportunity to meet customers face to face and demonstrate our latest innovations.”
The Fontaine team look forward to welcoming friends old and new to stand G23 between June 30 and July 2.
