Based on demand from business customers, fleet clients and dealerships, Renault Group Ireland is introducing commercial versions of the All-New Dacia Duster and the electric Renault ZOE to its line-up.
Available to order now, these are locally converted vehicles, with the conversions arranged by Renault and Dacia dealers on behalf of customers.
Among the benefits of these conversions for business owners are the ability to reclaim the VAT on the vehicle, and a lower rate of BIK for employees taking a company van over a car, as well as the comfort and refinement of a car with an easily accessible and capacious load area in the back.
The Dacia Duster Commercial has been a very successful vehicle for Renault Group dealers. Priced from just €16,302 excluding VAT for the core version, Duster Commercial’s exceptional value and low cost of ownership, combined with rugged style and go-anywhere 4×4 capability from €17,675 excluding VAT, makes it a very attractive commercial SUV.
The electric Renault ZOE Commercial opens up a whole new segment, with no competitors, priced from €22,050 ex VAT for the core version and after SEAI grant of €3,800. ZOE’s unique 22kW AC charging gives unique flexibility to charge rapidly at over 1,000 AC public charging points. Installing a basic 22kW charger on a business premises can cost as little as €2,000 and charges a ZOE three times faster than any competitor (requires 3-phase supply).
Running costs are a key concern for most business customers, and fuel bills over 20,000km are approximately €1,000 less than an equivalent diesel vehicle when choosing electric, with maintenance costs far lower thanks to less heat, friction and moving parts.
