FUSO ECanter – Ready to deliver Zero Emissions


The world’s first all-electric light truck in series production the FUSO eCanter was revealed on Wednesday 3 October to Irish customers in Weston Airport, with Minister Denis Naughten present for the event and to take a test drive in the zero emission eCanter.

Billy Riordan, CEO of Frank Keane Group, importers and distributors of FUSO Trucks in the Irish Republic & Northern Ireland commented that the Frank Keane Group is delighted to be able to showcase the eCanter, the first full electric truck for the Irish Market.  “It is a significant environmental and technological step towards Ireland’s sustainable transport future and will be a great addition to the FUSO Canter range.  We are looking forward to being able to support our customers in their progression towards reducing their environmental impact.”

The chassis cab payload on the 7.5 tonne GVW eCanter is 4.3 tonnes which is class leading, especially as a zero emission vehicle.”
