The facility is based at Foge Hill, just off the Kinsale Road Roundabout and as it can be accessed from the Cork Link Road its less than 10 minutes from the Jack Lynch Tunnel regardless of traffic. This new location will service Munster which accounts for forty percent of Linde’s customer base in Ireland and having a regional office, technical backup and training depot located there, means faster and better response times to customers.
Linde caters for the full range of product handling equipment, from the powered pallet truck up to the 10 tonne forklifts, catering for diesel, gas and electric drivetrains and it specialises in the sale and contract hire of new equipment along with sale/service of used hire equipment that is fully guaranteed and certified by its manufacturer.
The German manufacturer also specialises in technologic advancements, such as fully automated handling solutions on forklifts and also ground-breaking safety solutions whereby forklift operators and personnel in the warehouse are linked via intelligent high-viz vests that alert both forklift operator and personnel on the ground of units in operation.
Irish soccer legend Johnny Giles officially opened the facility and the over 200 invited guests were impressed with the training facility (its ability to train in all aspects handling equipment is unique as a stand-alone manufactures’ facility).
