Combilift extended a warm welcome to Susan O’Dwyer, CEO of Make-A-Wish Ireland to their new Monaghan facility this week to accept a cheque to the value of €50,000 for this very worthwhile charity. The amount raised was accumulated from sales of the Combikids book, combined with a generous contribution from Combilift and staff. Susan thanked the Combilift team for their incredible fundraising efforts which will help grant many wishes, and bring so much joy to seriously ill children across Ireland.
The Combikids book was launched in 2020 in collaboration with local author Emer Conlon from the Vroom-Town series with the focus on creating a unique way of communicating with existing and potential customers while contributing to the education of the next generation.
The CombiKids book “The Forklift Trucks and their Secret Superpowers” includes something for all age groups. Little ones can join the Combilift Trucks on their big adventure as they graduate from forklift University and discover their superpowers along with lessons of friendship and self-belief.
As Combilift’s chosen charity for 2020, Make-A-Wish Ireland grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions and has granted more than 2,600 wishes for brave children across Ireland.
The book is still available online (www.combilift.com/combikids/) and in all local shops. As local libraries open to the public; we are hoping children can get great enjoyment from reading this exciting children’s book with a special purpose.
