Picture of the Week: FAI & DHL Express Ireland extend Official Logistics Partnership deal

The Football Association of Ireland has extended its long-term agreement with DHL Express Ireland as Official Logistics Partner for a further two years.

The new deal will see DHL Express Ireland continue to provide their renowned logistical expertise across all facets of Irish football as a key partner of the FAI since the mid-1990s and will again see DHL deliver for Stephen Kenny’s Senior Men’s team and Vera Pauw’s Senior Women’s side, as well as all International squads.

Commenting on the announcement, Brian Murray, Commercial Director, DHL Express Ireland, said: “We are delighted to renew this longstanding partnership and reconfirm our commitment to providing our unparalleled logistics expertise to the FAI. As Official Logistics Partner to the FAI for over 25 years, we have been proud to support all Irish International football levels, from both senior teams to all youth and underage groups. We look forward to extending this partnership for a further two years and continuing to deliver Irish football to the world.” Brian Murray continued: “We would like to extend our best wishes to Stephen Kenny and his senior team as they embark on the qualification journey for World Cup 2022. Hopefully, DHL Express will continue to deliver first-class logistical support for the Irish team in Qatar 2022.”

Jonathan Hill, Chief Executive added: “The continuation of our partnership with DHL Express Ireland is another positive for the Association and I thank Brian and his team for their ongoing commitment to Irish football as we look ahead to the start of the World Cup qualifying series for both our Men and Women’s Senior national teams and a great year of football in 2021 across all facets of our international game.”
