For the first time in eight years, Isuzu Motors Limited has introduced a full model change on its long established and successful one-tonne Pick-up truck – the D-MAX.
Its design styling has got a more aggressive look with deeper grille extending above the bonnet line compared to before. Inside the cabin, a 9” display dominates and trim fit and finish is better all around.
New D-MAX’s core structure has been strengthened while its safety and convenience aspects have been enhanced. Fuel economy has improved as has its driving characteristics. For Asian markets, a 3.0 litre diesel (250 hp) is the norm, but for Europe, the 1.9 litre displacement continues. Adjustments to the suspension help to bring out the best of the 4×4 system, of which Isuzu is renowned.
Isuzu has been building Pick-ups since 1974 and since then has rolled out over 4 million units serving more than 100 countries worldwide.
