IVECO the Italian commercial vehicle manufacturer has handed over 12 new Stralis tractor-units and a Daily panel van to the Alfa Romeo Racing to support the Formula One team’s logistical operations for the European races in the 2019 season.
The vehicles will ensure safe and efficient transportation of the team’s equipment to all the Formula One European Grand Prix events throughout the 2019 season. The proven track record of IVECO’s vehicles, their reliability in a wide range of extreme conditions, and their exceptional fuel economy and low total cost of ownership were key factors in Alfa Romeo Racing’s choice of truck partner.
At the handover event Thomas Rücker, Business Director of IVECO Switzerland, commented: “We are proud to be entering into this partnership with Alfa Romeo Racing to provide transportation for the team’s equipment.
