Vehicle tracking specialist Quartix has been selected to provide tracking services at the inaugural Innovation & Technology in Transport Hub (ITT Hub) exhibition and conference taking place in May this year.

The company will be providing tracking for the ‘Ride and Drive’ test facility with equipment being installed on all of the participating vehicles at the event, as well as on the shuttle buses being used to transport exhibitors and visitors to and from the railway station.  The equipment will be used to track vehicle locations and monitor driver performance, while enabling event organisers Binswood Media to manage the vehicle movements on the various routes in and around the venue throughout the two days of the event.

As part of its presence at ITT Hub 2020, Quartix will be exhibiting in the inside area where representatives will be telling visitors about the many features and benefits of the system, including driving style analysis, route maps and live vehicle location. The company will also be giving live presentations at the driver check in area each day.

Sean Maher, Head of Field Sales at Quartix, said: “We’re excited to be part of such an innovative and interactive event as ITT Hub 2020, which will be a fantastic platform for us to demonstrate the Quartix system and promote the ways that vehicle tracking can reduce emissions, reduce costs and make fleets safer out on the roads.”

CEO of organisers Binswood Media, Mark Griffin, added: “The ‘Ride & Drive’ facility is a key part of ITT Hub 2020 experience and in turn the real time vehicle tracking and data provision from Quartix is precisely the type of innovative technology that the exhibition is all about.  We are delighted to have them on board, with yet another exciting feature for visitors to experience first-hand.”
