RTX – Road Transport Expo – An established trade event dedicated to the Commercial Vehicle industry, successfully held in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland is coming to Kill, County Kildare in May 2027.
RTX Ireland 2027 will be held at Goffs, one of Europe’s premiere thoroughbred auction houses and events venues, on the 12 & 13 May 2027. The new two-day exhibition, focussed on transport operators, bringing together the top brands in commercial vehicles, auxilliaries and services across extensive indoor and outdoor exhibition spaces.

Brought together by the Mark Allen Group, publishers of Commercial Motor, Motor Transport and Transport News publications, in association with Fleet Transport and Export & Freight magazines, RTX Ireland follows the proven show theme – ‘All about the Truck” format – delivering everything needed to run, optimise and future-proof fleets, all in one venue.
Interest in the event is growing from a number of leading commercial vehicle manufacturers and suppliers seeking booking details to attend, highlighting the strong industry support behind this inaugural showcase for the industry.
Visiting operators will have the opportunity to explore the latest in technology, innovation and equipment from a wide range of industry suppliers and dealerships.
Alongside the exhibition, visitors can benefit from the Knowledge Zone, a two-day programme of expert-led sessions covering the issues that matter most to commercial vehicle and materials handling operators.
For those keen to get hands-on the vehicles, the Ride & Drive Experience will offer visitors the chance to test drive a selection of the newest demonstrators on site (appropriate licence required).
Designed specifically with HGV and LCV fleet operators in mind, RTX Ireland 2027 also provides a relaxed environment for informal networking, enabling attendees to connect with industry peers and build valuable new business relationships.
RTX Ireland 2027 is organised in the main by the same team behind the established Road Transport Expo, held each summer in Warwickshire, England, and RTX Scotland, which launched successfully in Glasgow last year and earlier this year the Eikon Exhibition Centre in Lisburn hosted RTX Northern Ireland, during April. Now the RTX portfolio expands with the launch of RTX Ireland in May 2027.

“We are very much looking forward to bringing the popular RTX format to the Republic of Ireland next May and having spoken to a number of stakeholders, we are delighted with the interest expressed by the commercial vehicle industry we’ve received to date. It promises to be a great event,” said Vic Bunby, Show Director of RTX Ireland.
“As with all our RTX events, the show will provide an excellent mix of quality exhibitors, knowledgeable conference sessions and a relaxed networking environment.”

He outlines the history of the iconic venue: “Founded in 1866, Goffs is globally renowned for hosting high-profile bloodstock auctions, where some of the world’s most valuable racehorses ae bought and sold. In addition, the venue has a rich history as the ‘Home of snooker in Ireland’, hosting the prestigious Irish Masters from the 1980s through to the 2000s and other exhibitions during the year.
We are delighted to be part of all aspect of the event, from start to finish. Bookings for trade exhibitors are now open,“ he said.
