TTW (Truck and Trailer Works), the established 32 county truck and trailer specialist services company has formed a new partnership with Cartwright, the renowned British trailer and commercial vehicle body manufacturer.
Both companies announced their new partnership at a promotional launch event showcasing examples of Cartwright’s diverse trailer range at TTW’s Swords location in Dublin on Wednesday last, 11 September that included a curtainsider, box van and urban and double deck fridge trailers.
TTW has made its name offering a ‘one stop shop’ through its diverse range of truck and trailer services throughout Ireland including sales, service, repair, parts, conversions and breakdown recovery. It prides itself on ‘decades of experience’ serving the Irish road transport industry, has three sites in Ireland, two in the Dublin area as well as Dungannon, County Tyrone.
TTW will be marketing new build Cartwright trailers at its Swords premises near Dublin as well as the firm’s used trailers. A major selling point will be the fact that TTW can provide Cartwright customers with total coverage of Ireland in terms of back up service and support and be anywhere within one day.
Ricky Burke, Managing Director of TTW commented on the newly established acquisition: “This exciting new partnership with Cartwright is a very good fit for both businesses. We are both aiming to achieve the same goals, attracting customers whether they are looking for one trailer or a large fleet order. Bespoke manufacturing is a key part of our core business. We believe the relationship will work well because Cartwright’s partnership will not only enhance our business, but we can also tap into their resources, expertise and knowledge and they can take advantage of our reputation and decades of experience in the commercial vehicle marketplace in Ireland. We see the future for the relationship based upon offering customers a bespoke body build service whatever the size of order, coupled with providing multi-purpose solutions to customer’s individual problems. Our initial objective will be to take the Cartwright products to market, as well as build awareness of the brand and their diverse range of products.”
“We are confident we can help them to achieve that,” he added.
David MacDonald, Cartwright’s Key Accounts Director with responsibility for Ireland, added: “We are delighted to be creating a new partnership with TTW which are well known and respected throughout Ireland for the quality of their service and operation. We have been looking for an established partner in Ireland for some time and one that shares our values as a business as well as our commitment to service excellence with our customers.”
“Our objective is to build market share and brand awareness in Ireland through our diverse range of quality products, now supported by a total service back up through TTW,” he added.
Formed 67 years ago, Cartwright remains an independent, family-owned business, offering a diverse range of products and services including manufacturing, rental, finance sales, fleet management and conversions.
