GERVASI Ecologica, the Italian company specialized in design and manufacturing of trailers for scrap metals is beginning to make an impact in the European marketplace with its Cobra KR65H tipper semi-trailer and crane.
Headquartered at Buriasco, south of Turin, Gervasi Ecologica has 40 years of experience in this specialist engineering in transport, and particularly successful in Italy, has exported some units to selected markets.
Designed and produced by Gervasi Ecologica, a family run business since the 1980s, the Cobra KR65H trailer chassis is constructed with high resistance steel with a slightly rear lowered section for a better stability and low loading floor. This version, on SAF axles, on 385/65R22.5 tyres, with disc brakes, is proving most popular because of its large load capacity: transporting up to 65 cubic meters of bulk materials almost everywhere, even without big crawler cranes and handlers. The tipper body is made in wear resistant steel 450HB, reinforced with folded and entirely welded uprights and profiles.
Gervasi Ecologica products meet European Type Approval, and all of its trailers are made to measure to suit perfectly the requirements and specifications of the customer. This Cobra KR65H features an 11.3 m crane made by the Italian manufacturer Marchesi, with a lifting capacity of 20 tonnes/metre. The crane is mounted in the front part of the chassis and is equipped with a polyp grab made by Rozzi, another Italian company.
