2023 Coastlink Conference – Peel Ports Liverpool – 3 & 4 May

1144
The 2023 Coastlink Conference is being hosted by Peel Ports Liverpool on the 3 & 4 May.

Coastlink is a neutral pan-European network dedicated to the promotion of short sea and feeder shipping, and the intermodal transport networks through the ports that support the supply chain.

It is a place for industry professionals to meet and discuss future innovation, economic and environmental considerations – and develop partnerships that will help build a sustainable future. This year’s 2-day event centres on the theme of Growing Sustainable Supply Chains through short sea shipping and intermodal networks.

The conference will deliver informative presentations with keynotes from MAERSK and Containerships, and the Port of Liverpool’s welcome address from Claudio Veritiero, CEO of Peel Ports Group. Coastlink encourages engaging panel debates, which this year will include topics such as ‘Post-Brexit & post pandemic – are we where we need to be?’, the impact of Freeports on the supply chain and, ‘Driving efficiency through data, port collaboration, and digitalisation’

Delegates will benefit from the networking opportunities on offer through the event including the Conference Dinner and evening drinks reception taking place on 3rd May.

The 2023 conference will take place in the prestigious Royal Liver Building on the world-famous Liverpool Waterfront. The City of Liverpool is steeped in maritime history and is a major hub for shipping and port operations. As the second largest port group in the UK, Peel Ports Group safely handle over 70 million tonnes of cargo from across the globe.

Attendees at Coastlink include port operators, logistics providers, short sea & feeder shipping lines, shippers, intermodal operators, ports, stevedores, as well as freight forwarders, shipping agents, cargo handlers and industry associations.
