Starting with a brand new hard stand site, the Tipperary Truck show is back for 2024, bigger and better than ever. This year’s show will take place on 31 August & 1 September at its new Eircode location at E41 HP98. Known to many locally as “the old block yard Holycross”, this development ensures that the event will grow and prosper.
Having been part of the Dualla Agricultural Show for nine years, the 10th anniversary of the Tipperary Truck Show, organised and operated independently will be marked in a special way.
“It is almost hard to believe that 2024 will see us organising our 10th show. We are both excited and proud to reach this milestone on our first solo show and it comes with massive thanks to all those in the road transport and truck community in general. Without the support of every single one, this simply would not be possible. That includes all our sponsors, particularly our title sponsor again this year, Dennison Trailers, which celebrates 60 years in business this year,” commented Paddy Graham, on behalf of the organisers.
“As always, we will have some of the very best vendors on site over the weekend. From truck accessories and clothing to sports equipment, we have made a huge effort to ensure that we have the best and most relevant vendors on site. This also goes for food vendors; with a broad selection of food offerings on site. We can assure a great choice available, including the annual Saturday evening ‘Truckers BBQ’,” he added.
“There cannot be a truck show without some great live music, and we are delighted to welcome back “Matrimony” this year. For the first time we will also welcome the Terry Grant Stunt Show performing over the weekend. Holder of many world records, Terry will enthrall and excite all attendees. There will also be fun-fair rides on site for the duration and the RSA will be on hand with their demonstration truck and team to promote education around road safety. A local branch of the Fire Brigade will also be present conducting demonstrations.”
This year along with the main Truck Show there will be a Tractor Show & Shine competition, which will be hotly contested, as well as a Dog Show and on the Saturday evening, a Truck Light Display.
“This year’s show is shaping up to be our best yet, it really is a show not to be missed with a great mix of music and attractions which make it a great event for all the family. We look forward to welcoming people to the premier county for a celebration like no other. Tickets for public entry will be available to purchase on the gate on the day – Adult €20 – U16’s Free,” he concluded.
