Video of the Month: Volkswagen ID. Buzz GTX featured in Sony Pictures’ final film of the Venom trilogy

Volkswagen is making a cameo appearance in Sony Pictures’ Venom blockbuster sequel, which premiered last weekend, with all-new Volkswagen ID. Buzz GTX featuring in the final film of the Venom trilogy.

The Volkswagen ID. Buzz, the descendant of the legendary VW Bus, is returning to the North American market. Just in time for its launch, it is also making a name for itself in Hollywood: The Volkswagen ID. Buzz GTX will be featured in Sony Pictures’ “Venom: The Last Dance”.

A strong, dynamic duo, the new ID. Buzz GTX comes as the most powerful model in the series, in fact the most powerful production VW bus of all time. With a 250kW (340 hp) drive train, the ID. Buzz GTX accelerates from standstill to 100km/h in 6.5 seconds.

Fittingly, the ID. Buzz is being “Venomized” in a brand-new role: we see the main character Eddie Brock and Venom approaching the vehicle and turning the red ID. Buzz into a powerful black GTX, just like Venom. Lights, camera, action!

About Venom: The Last Dance: Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom are on the run and, hunted by both of their worlds and with a net closing in on them, the duo is forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom’s and Eddie’s last dance.

Venom: The Last Dance stars Tom Hardy, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Stephen Graham, Peggy Lu and Alanna Ubach. The film is directed by Kelly Marcel from a screenplay she wrote, based on a story by Hardy and Marcel. The film is produced by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, Kelly Marcel, Tom Hardy and Hutch Parker.
