Arvato, the Gütersloh, Germany headquartered, tech-focused global 3PL service provider specializing in supply chain management and e-commerce solutions, has announced the acquisition of ATC Computer Transport & Logistics.
ATC Computer Transport & Logistics, the award-winning Baldonnell, Dublin based company provides specialised transport, logistics, and technical services for hyperscale data center operators, high-tech freight forwarders, and original equipment manufacturers. The acquisition, which is subject to approval by relevant regulatory and antitrust authorities, aims to unlock new opportunities in the rapidly expanding data centre services market by combining the complementary strengths of both companies.
The merger of Arvato and ATC Computer Transport & Logistics will create a comprehensive portfolio of solutions for the entire data centre lifecycle. In addition, ATC Computer Transport & Logistics brings a robust European network covering the major data centre hubs, while Arvato expands this through its extensive global footprint.

The partnership of the two companies will create a world-class end-to-end service portfolio tailored to the needs of international clients.
The takeover is subject to antitrust approval, which is expected in the coming weeks. Until completion of the transaction, Arvato and ATC Computer Transport & Logistics will remain two independent companies, continuing their day-to-day business as usual.
