County Cork’s Tony O’Mahony Agri Plant Hire & Haulage has taken delivery of a Volvo FH16 750 6×2 tractor unit continuing its long-standing relationship with the Swedish manufacturer which dates back nearly 20 years. Supplied by Gerard Sheehan, Sales Executive at McCarthy Commercials, the new truck replaces a 2016 plate FH16 in the customer’s fleet, meaning 13 of its 14 commercial vehicles remain Volvo-supplied.
DAF Distributors Ireland recently sold three new DAF Trucks to BOC Gases, Bluebell, Dublin 12. Two new DAF XD 340 6×2 26-tonne rigids with day cabs and Dhollandia tail-lifts, along with a new LF 230 4×2 14-tonner, have gone into operation with the sale conducted by Paul O’Reilly, DAF Trucks Ireland Fleet Sales Manager with Ian Smith, National Fleet Services Manager, BOC Gases (pictured). The bodywork work on the chassis was undertaken by C TEC Engineering, Magherafelt, County Derry.
Meanwhile, DAF Interparts Cavan provided this new DAF XB 190 42 rigid with day cab to Rego Hire, Oldcastle, County Meath. The bodywork was done by Fitzgeralds, Cork and additional lights and fittings supplied by TRP.
