Eureka supporting Stateline Logistics Group business growth for over a decade

As Stateline Logistics Group celebrates 10 years with Eureka, its journey reflects strong growth, a focus on driver welfare, and the transformative impact of Eureka’s technology in supporting its success.

Stateline Logistics Group has been a trusted name in Irish logistics for more than three decades. Based in Santry, County Dublin, the business employs over 85 people, runs a fleet of more than 55 vehicles, and serves more than 110 customers across the country.

Over the past two years, Stateline has experienced remarkable growth, doubling in size. The company attributes this success to two clear priorities: delivering a premium, reliable service for its customers and putting driver welfare at the centre of its operations. With a workforce made up largely of drivers, the business has built a reputation for looking after its people, knowing that they are absolutely crucial to its business model.

Stateline offers a diverse range of services, including container transport, supermarket deliveries, curtainsider trailers, hazardous goods, waste jobs, container devanning, and storage. This variety keeps the business sharp and ensures its drivers remain some of the most adaptable in the industry.

Now led by Managing Director Ryan Brady, Stateline recognised that outdated systems were holding back their operations. This prompted a search for a suitable Transport Management System (TMS). Having worked his way through every level of the business, from driving and planning to eventually leading the business, Ryan saw firsthand the need for a TMS, to boost efficiency and support their ambitious growth plans

Before MoveIT, it was a mix of spreadsheets, phone calls, notepads and a lot of people relying on memory!”recalls Ryan, “It worked to a point, but it wasn’t sustainable if we wanted to scale up.

Communication gaps, missed opportunities, and too much time spent on admin. A lot of information was in people’s heads or written on a piece of paper, we were probably Tipp-Ex’s biggest customers!”

At the time, moving away from paper-based processes and spreadsheets required some internal persuasion, but once the systems were in place, the benefits were immediately clear. Fast forward 10 years, and the team at Stateline is still seeing the benefits of Eureka.

We have now been with Eureka since 2015. It took a while to convince the father at the time, but once we got the system in, it’s been a game changer

Today, the company uses Eureka’s MoveIT, MaintainIT, and a number of integrated apps, including Telegram. Each solution fits neatly into the way the team operates, making day-to-day work smoother and more efficient.

The team love it. It’s not overly complicated, and it actually works in practice,” says Ryan. “Eureka won’t sell you something that doesn’t work– which is rare with software in our industry.”

Stateline has achieved an impressive 97% revenue growth over the past two years, with Ryan attributing much of this success to the support provided by the Eureka MoveIT TMS.

Since adopting Eureka, the team now has full visibility of operations in real-time, and communication between office staff and drivers has improved immensely.

The introduction of Telegram integration has been particularly valuable. Telegram, the instant messaging mobile app, integrates with Eureka MoveIT TMS, allowing office staff to seamlessly contact drivers with job information, delivery updates, and delivery documentation (such as PODs).

The Telegram integration with Eureka also enables live translation, ensuring that communication and messages shared with drivers whose first language is not English are clearly understood. This helps to minimise disruptions and keep operations running smoothly.

With plans to grow the business, Ryan and the team needed a system that could help support their customer service with their existing clients. Part of this, was ensuring customers are informed with real-time, accurate information and updates, throughout their delivery journey.

With improved communication directly with their drivers, the traffic team have full view of delivery progress across all of their jobs, providing them with the visibility they need to update customers.

Eureka’s dedicated and integrated Workshop module, MaintainIT, has also had a big impact on the team at Stateline. MaintainIT allows users to monitor vehicle maintenance schedules, log inspection checks, order new parts, and record vehicle work logs. With full integration with MoveIT, it adds a greater level of visibility for vehicle and trailer availability.

For Stateline, the benefits of Eureka extend beyond the software. The relationship with the Eureka team has been consistently positive.

Despite rapid growth in recent years, Ryan and the team at Stateline Logistics have no plans to slow down. In addition to a new storage container depot scheduled to open in 2026, Ryan aims to expand their fleet to over 100 vehicles within the next five years, doubling its current size.

With Eureka as a trusted partner, Stateline Logistics Group is confident it can achieve its growth ambitions and remain one of Ireland’s leading logistics providers.
