| The electric ID. Buzz is a genuine all-rounder: as a VW Bus, it comes with five and optionally six or seven seats in three rows – this is the ID. Buzz for family, leisure and business. Version number two, the ID. Buzz Cargo, offers a three-seater cab as standard, which is separated from the huge load compartment by a partition – this is the ID. Buzz for retail, trade and all service providers. Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles now has a new feature in its range that creates a third interior and transport solution: a fixed partition for the VW Bus version of the ID. Buzz. With this partition system, the ID. Buzz can be used as a five-seater in the passenger compartment and in a similar way to the Cargo version in the load compartment – ideal for transporting people plus material. | Partition available ex works: the partition is selected directly as part of the new vehicle configuration and is integrated at the factory behind the second row of seats of, in this case, the five-seater ID. Buzz. The passenger compartment is therefore completely separated from the load compartment, which can then be used in a similar way to the Cargo version. This includes loading all kinds of goods up to roof height. Dirt or noise caused by the load does not enter the passenger compartment thanks to the partition. This means people and materials are optimally separated from each other. A window in the partition ensures a view to the rear. Additional small benefit: the automatic air conditioner works even more efficiently as the passenger compartment to be air-conditioned becomes smaller.
For both wheelbase versions: the partition from Snoeks Automotive is made of a material called Compax©. This is a composite material that is both light and durable and boasts finishes in a premium and high-quality soft-touch design. A window is integrated in the partition. In front of the partition on the load compartment side, a fold-open stowage compartment for the charging cable of the ID. Buzz is also installed in the vehicle floor. As an important note, the seat belts and side airbags in the rear can be used without any restrictions even with the partition on board. The partition is available for the ID. Buzz with short wheelbase in the Freestyle, Pure, Energy and Pro equipment versions. For the two higher-positioned lines Energy and Pro, the partition can also be configured in conjunction with the long wheelbase. The price in Germany is 1,856.40 euros1, including stowage compartment for the charging cable. Partners for seven decades: The Volkswagen Group and Snoeks Automotive have been working together for 70 years. Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles uses Snoeks systems not only in the ID. Buzz, but also in the Caddy, Transporter, Caravelle, Multivan (for the Belgian market) and Crafter.
