A Link Transport, a Poland-based freight and logistics company operating across European corridors, has signed a new international recruitment agreement with M/Brazil Agency to hire 40 professional truck drivers from South America.
The deal reflects a growing trend among European transport operators seeking to address persistent driver shortages by tapping into experienced labor markets abroad. Poland, one of the European Union’s largest logistics hubs, has been particularly affected by workforce gaps in long-haul trucking, driven by an aging domestic workforce and increased freight demand across the bloc.
Under the agreement, M/Brazil Agency will oversee the identification, screening, and preparation of qualified drivers, primarily from Brazil and neighboring countries, ensuring compliance with European licensing, safety, and migration requirements.
South American drivers are increasingly recognized for their adaptability, technical skills, and strong work ethic.
The recruited drivers are expected to operate modern Euro 6-compliant fleets across key European corridors, including routes connecting Central and Western Europe. The initiative also includes onboarding support, cultural integration, and professional training aligned with European Union transport regulations.
For M/Brazil Agency, the agreement reinforces its positioning as a specialized provider of international workforce solutions for the transport sector. The company reports growing demand from European carriers seeking scalable recruitment pipelines outside the continent.
“This is not just a hiring project—it is a structured mobility program,” said Marcelo Toledo, owner of the the Brazilian agency. “We are building long-term bridges between South American talent and European logistics companies facing structural labor shortages.”
Industry analysts note that cross-border recruitment initiatives like this are likely to accelerate as supply chain resilience becomes a priority for European economies.
The first group of drivers is expected to begin deployment in the coming months.
