In spite of all the challenges that face road hauliers during the COVID-19 crisis, insurance is still a big issue. Much more work needs to be done, and members of the Irish Road Haulage Association (IRHA) are encouraged to complete a short survey.
The IRHA continues to be an active member of the Alliance for Insurance Reform. This grouping is made up of a number of trade associations whose members have experienced crippling increases in insurance premiums in recent years. During the pandemic, the Alliance has been lobbying the Government to put pressure on insurance companies to treat customers fairly and offer meaningful discounts and/or refunds for the resulting from the slowdown in economic activity. IRHA members are asked to participate in this survey as it is needed to gauge to what extent, if at all, businesses are receiving any forbearance measures from their insurance companies.
The confidential data will be used to clarify the insurance issues related to the COVID-19 crisis and assist ongoing interactions with Government and insurers. This feedback is essential. Please take 5 minutes to complete survey. Start by clicking here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SSGKVL8
