The new Romaquip fully electric Kerb-Sort, the RQ-E is revolutionising the Kerb-Side recycling industry and taking the Kerb-Sort to new levels of demand.

Since launching the new RQ-E a few months ago the Birr, County Offaly built RQ-E has been the most talked about vehicle in the industry and we have been receiving many requests to view and demonstrate the vehicles capabilities to current and potential new customers.

The RQ-E will be the first of its kind in the world to go into operation when the new fleet is delivered to Conwy Council in the near future. And with more orders being placed the RQ-E will soon become a regular feature on collection routes around the UK.

Recently it demonstrated the new RQ-E at the 36th British-Irish Council Summit where the First Minister of Wales, Mark Drakeford and An Taoiseach Micheál Martin were in attendance to view the vehicle in operation. During the summit Romaquip Director Stephen McKeown spoke to RTE news and outlined the full capabilities of the vehicle and why it is the top supplier of choice of Kerb-Side recycling vehicles to the UK Market.

A few months ago, Romaquip supplied a new fleet of Kerb-Sort Recycling vehicles to East Lothian Council, Scotland. The fleet is a mixture of our standard 5.0m Kerb-Sort mounted on a DAF 12 tonne Chassis and a new 7.5t Kerb-Sort mounted on a ISUZU Truck chassis.
