Dungannon manufacturer bmi trailers, has announced the next expansion of its headquarters based in Granville, County Tyrone.
Having endured the crippling lockdowns of the pandemic, the bmi team has been developing extensive plans to increase production capacity with modern robotic systems, while appealing to talented new graduates.
“Across the next 5 years, we will double our output and increase the skills of our workers.” explained Brendan McIlvanna, CEO. “bmi isn’t your typical ‘engineering cave’. We utilise a fully-automated welding robotic system and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, to create world-class products for the commercial automotive sector we supply.”
The new expansion will also create 15 manufacturing jobs for the area. Brendan explains “These new opportunities are distinguished by expert on-the-job training, working with cutting-edge technology and overall the pride that each team member feels completing each build.”
The business has a clear focus on the environment and sustainability, “Reclaim The Future – that’s our maxim. As a leading manufacturer of recycling and waste transfer trailers, we are the first step in protecting the future by reclaiming the resource of waste.”
The new building phase is expected to be completed and operational in March 2022.
