Some weeks ago we pondered on the number of shopping days left to Christmas and to the beginning of 2021. For sure, a lot will have happened by then but it is difficult to see what 2021 will look like past these two obstructions.
In theory, the future and control of Brexit and COVID-19 is in our hands. In reality, we are traveling almost out of control to an uncertain future. It is possible that the die is cast for both crisis and we may be in the eye of the storm, with no way around. It is important that the Government and the various Agencies do not give up looking for solutions and strategies that may ease the effect on people’s health and their business.
