The new Calais Truck Stop is to open on the North-western French coastline on 1 September 2020, with secure parking, tank cleaning, and truck wash. With the uncertainty that Brexit and changes to tachograph regulations will bring, this new truck stop facility will at least be a place for drivers to park, rest and dine safely.
The Calais Truckstop is located on 847 avenue Henri Ravisse, 62730 Marck (France). On A16, exit 48, Transmarck.
The secure site includes :
- Truck parking with 293 spaces, entirely secured and manned by its agents, guards, and dog patrols, 24/7.
- All amenities and services for truck drivers. Toilets, showers, washing machines, lounge, tv, vending machines and WiFi on the whole site.
- A tank cleaning station (2 lanes for foodstuff, 2 lanes for industrial products), and an outdoor truck wash. The new station meets the latest requirements in terms of quality standards, processes, and respect of environment.
