€5,000 Grants available for cleaner, affordable CNG Vehicles

Ireland is two steps closer to decarbonising the nation’s heavy vehicle transport sector, with the country’s third and fourth public compressed natural gas (CNG) stations, now open at Circle K’s forecourts in Clonshaugh, Dublin and Ballysimon Road, Limerick City.

And now, with up to €5,000 available per vehicle (maximum support up to €60,000) through our CNG Vehicle Grant Scheme, there is no better time to make the switch to CNG for trucks, buses and vans.

Moving from diesel to CNG is a sustainable, long-term choice for Irish companies that provides competitive advantage and demonstrates to customers that they are reducing their impact on the environment.

Furthermore, as the volume of renewable gas on the network increases, vehicles refuelling from the national gas network will increasingly reduce their carbon footprint without needing to change a thing.
