In the ever growing list of contenders in the Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) category in the Fleet Transport Irish Green Commercials Awards 2025, in association with ePower, Renault Trucks, Volvo Trucks and Stellantis ProOne Van brands emerged victorious at the Fleet Transport Awards Gala Banquet held at the Johnstown Estate Hotel, Enfield, County Meath on Thursday 10 October.
The award winners were announced by joint compères Shay Byrne & Sile Seoige and presented by the Green Commercial Awards 2025 Title Sponsor Hugh Hall, Company Director, ePower.
The Renault D-Wide E-Tech (18t) 4×2 rigid was elected as the Medium Duty Truck winner with the new Volvo FH Electric Aero 4×2 tractor-unit securing the Heavy Duty Truck class.
In the Light Commercials field, there are a number of contenders in the Small/Compact category with the selection of vans from the Stellantis ProOne family (Peugeot ePartner/Citroen eBerlingo/Fiat eDoblo/Opel Combo-e) carrying off the main prize.
Also on the night a number of companies, Fiat and Opel brands were inducted into the Fleet Transport Awards Hall of Fame to acknowledge their 125 year landmark anniversary.
