EUROTUNNEL – Travel UK to France: update

1742

The first trucks started to cross yesterday afternoon and the vehicles have now reached the continent.

The British authorities have so far been slower than expected in implementing the tests on the M20. Nevertheless, the teams in place will be reinforced this evening to ensure the continuity of the tests over the next few days, including Christmas day, until all the trucks which are waiting have been transported. This should speed up the testing process and enable a higher volume of trucks to be carried.

Le Shuttle is continuing to deliver a service with a planned capacity of 5 departures per hour tomorrow and trying to call on all possible resources to enable us to reinforce the timetable over the following days.

In this particularly difficult context, they are doing everything possible to ensure the transportation of the trucks and trailers in the best possible conditions despite the constraints.
