Mr. van Niekerk added, “Fastway’s steadfast commitment to CSR underscores its core values and vision of being a responsible corporate citizen. I want to say a heartful thanks to my colleagues, Courier Franchisees, and suppliers who, over the last number of years, have given their time and expertise, for voluntary activities. We are an organisation with deep roots in local communities, so it’s only fitting, that our CSR activities positively impacts local communities, creating a legacy of compassion and goodwill.”
Darren Sheahan, Marketing Communications Executive, Cliona’s Foundation said: “We are delighted to receive such fantastic support from Fastway. The monies donated will go a long way in helping families with the non-medical costs that they face while their child is suffering with a life-limiting illness. We have already supported 88 families this year up to the end of April at a cost of €217,000, so donations like this are really critical for us and very much appreciated!”
Heather Miller, Community Fundraiser – NI North, Marie Curie commented: “The kindness and generosity of the Fastway NI staff will help Marie Curie continue to provide care and support for patients and their families across Northern Ireland. We provide care and support for patients and their families at the Marie Curie Hospice in East Belfast and through our network of Marie Curie nurses across Northern Ireland. Without people like you, we couldn’t continue to be there for those who need us. Once again, thank you so much for your support.”
