Harris Bus & Coach raises bar within Passenger Transport industry- 5-year / 500,000km manufacturers’ warranty

Harris Bus & Coach has made a major statement at this year’s CV Show, unveiling an industry-leading 5-year / 500,000km manufacturer’s warranty across its entire V-Series Euro-6 coach range, including the V10, V12 and the latest tri-axleV14.

The announcement represents a significant step-change in the UK and Ireland coach market, setting a new benchmark for manufacturer-backed support and underlining the company’s confidence in both product quality and long-term reliability.Positioned alongside its rapidly expanding dealer network and strong product pipeline, the enhanced warranty further strengthens Harris Bus & Coach’s proposition as a serious new force in the sector.

The announcement comes as Harris Bus & Coach showcases its growing V-Series line-up at the CV Show, where the V10, V12 and V14 coach are drawing strong attention from operators.

That interest is also boosted by the company’s wider momentum in the market, including the rapid expansion towards a 50-point dealer network across the UK and Ireland, immediate vehicle availability, with 45 new stock coaches arriving by the end of May. Plus a commitment to ensuring no operator is more than 90 minutes or 150km from support.

“Our new manufacturer’s warranty package is among the most comprehensive currently offered anywhere in the coach market,” said Harris Bus & Coach Managing Director, Bill Laidlaw, “designed to give operators complete peaceofmind over the full lifecycle of their vehicles.

It reflects the high quality engineering that underpins the V-Series range,” he said, which combines proven European components – including Cummins engines, ZF gearboxes and advanced braking and steering systemswith modern coach design and manufacturing. By extending coverage to 5years or 500,000 kilometres, we’re directly addressing one of the industry’s biggest concerns; whole-life cost certainty and vehicle uptime, said Laidlaw.

Together, these developments create a highly competitive proposition. Combining product, support and availability to challenge established market norms. The enhanced warranty sits within a broader operator-focused strategy to reduce downtime and improve efficiency, supported by integrated Geotab telematics, strong aftersales and a growing service network.
