The Harris Group company will be bringing its latest range of MAXUS eDELIVER 9 and eDELIVER 3 light commercial vehicles on a large 500sqm outdoor display supported by a selection of vehicles to go in the ride and drive experience.

The presence by Harris MAXUS will be the Chinese brand’s first opportunity to take part in a public-facing event following its rebrand from LDV and the virtual launch of the new platform e DELIVER 9 in June, last year.

In welcoming the latest exhibitor to the event, Mark Griffin, CEO, Binswood Media, organisers of ITT Hub said: “We are very proud that Harris MAXUS has chosen ITT Hub as its first trade show as we all come out of the lockdown measures due to this dreadful pandemic. We are very mindful of the restrictions in Ireland at this current time and the challenges of taking part in events. This is a huge vote of confidence for our visitors to enjoy and we look forward to giving a very warm welcome to our friends from Ireland and of course the MAXUS dealership network here in the UK. The MAXUS DELIVER range already has plenty of fans getting it into fleets and it is really exciting to see the range of electric vehicles being tested out at Farnborough this summer.”

Mark Barrett, GM of Harris MAXUS added: “It’s great to be back showcasing our range of new platform vehicles.  The eDELIVER 9 exemplifies MAXUS’ focus on innovation, customisation and reputation and everything about this van if of a superior quality. At MAXUS we truly want to go the extra mile for our customers and we are looking   forward to introducing or, for many fleet buyers and drivers, reintroducing the range at ITT.”

Visitors will be able to talk to the team from MAXUS about the e DELIVER 9 or e DELIVER 3 which comes in seven standard variants and is getting many positive reviews and strong recommendations from those in the EV Van sector.

Getting behind the wheel of a MAXUS or any of the other demonstration vehicles from one of the 22 vehicle manufacturers taking part ITT Hub is available to visitors holding a current valid driver licence. Visitors can book a drive on arrival after a driver licence check and drug/alcohol test. Exhibitors will have a range of electric, gas and diesel powered vehicles of various types making it the largest line up of commercial vehicles at a trade show for many years.

Mark Griffin hinted at other news around the corner: “The demand for stand space is clear evidence that the transport industry is hungry to do business face to face and tackle the opportunities associated with achieving Net-Zero targets. We are very nearly full now with plenty of last minute interest from companies. In addition to the ride and drive and vehicles, we have some amazing content and thought leadership with fantastic speakers. I can guarantee it will be a show like no other, different, unique, fun and hugely educational.”

The event organisers Binswood Media hosted a successful Exhibitor Preview Day on Wednesday 19th May where over 60 attendees (including Fleet Transport & Fleet Bus & Coach) heard presentations about the show. It also featured the live recording of the third webinar titled “Transport Decarbonisation Plan – collaboration is fundamental. Taking part was Carlone Low OBE, Director of Environment & Future Mobility at Department for Transport,  David Wells, Chief Executive, Logistics UK, Victoria Whitehead, Managing Director, Head of Infrastructure & Transport, Lloyds Banking Group and Chaired by Leon Daniels OBE.
