With 7 Education Training Boards (ETB) now on board either delivering the PROFESSIONAL HGV TRAINEESHIP or committed to including it soon, the Irish Road Haulage Association (IRHA) will by 2022, have delivered over 350 Drivers either fully Trained or in Training, with a planned 400 drivers to be fully trained for our industry next year. This has the potential to double to 800 to 1000 Drivers per annum, with increased uptake from the remaining ETB’s across the Country along with the existing ETB’s providing more Courses.
This can only happen with Member’s engagement within the areas local to the ETB providing the Training. Please see Video https://fb.watch/8COM7wi_W_/  showing what is being achieved by WW ETB.
The ETB’s on board to deliver the Professional HGV Traineeship are listed below with some details of the Traineeship roll out for each area.
