Best payload capacity through weight optimization
Every component of the IVECO X-WAY range is designed for the vehicle to be as light as possible without compromising on off-road capability, because low kerb weight means high payload for the customers, especially when operating on the road with standard load limits.
The X-WAY Super Loader mixer version, featuring an 8×4 chassis and 9-litre 400 hp engine, has the lowest kerb weight in the industry, weighing less than 9 tonnes in running order.

High mobility functions
The engines are coupled with the proven 12- and 16-speed HI-TRONIX automated gearbox, which features a host of functionalities specifically intended for off-road mobility, such as Rocking Mode to help recover traction in slippery conditions and Off-road Mode when higher rpms are needed before shifting to faster gears. The HI-TRACTION hydrostatic drive delivers maximum grip when needed, improving maneuverability and driving safety, with significant advantages in payload and fuel efficiency compared to permanent all-wheel-drive trucks.
