Kia has unveiled its vision for the future of mobility at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show, running from April 3 to 13 at KINTEX in Goyang, South Korea. At the media day event, attended by Fleet Transport, Kia presented the domestic debut of its all-new, Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV), the Kia PV5, along with the global premiere of the Tasman WKNDR concept – an even more rugged lifestyle variant of Kia’s first-ever pickup truck. Also on display was Kia’s full EV lineup, including the EV4, EV3 GT-Line, and EV9 GT-Line.

The new Kia PV5 represents the first step in Kia’s PBV strategy, merging advanced EV technology with scalable, modular design. Built on the E-GMP.S platform – a service-optimized version of Hyundai Motor Group’s E-GMP – the PV5 offers a wide interior space, modular upper body configurations, and a Flexible Body System that enables production of varied body types tailored to different business needs.
To demonstrate the PV5’s flexibility, Kia showcased three key variants:
- Passenger – focused on comfortable urban transport
- Cargo – optimized for last-mile delivery with expansive load space
- WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle) – enabling inclusive mobility for all
