Generation II Mercedes-Benz Citan has been elected the Irish Van of the Year 2024, in association with Continental Tyres.
The accolade was awarded on foot of votes cast by members of the Motoring Media Association of Ireland (MMAI) who individually assess every new van model launched in Ireland each year.
The announcement was made at the 2024 Irish Car and Van of the Year gala awards ceremony which took place at the Conrad Hotel in Dublin and which was attended by Ireland’s leading car brands, importers and distributors.
Receiving the award, Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles sales manager in Ireland, Fergus Conheady thanked members of the MMAI for their recognition adding that he was “proud to accept such a prestigious accolade on behalf of the entire Mercedes-Benz organisation and the commercial vehicle dealer network”.
