Picture of the Week: Electric Trucks in the eMix at RTX Expo 2023

At this weeks Road Transport Expo (RTX) at Stoneleigh, two trucks of similar specification stood out at the indoor arena section of the vast exhibition site. Both multi axle rigid trucks had cement bottle fitted, that are totally electric powered.  
Chinese Sany Group used its Sany 408P electric truck to collaborate with its German body builder sister company Putzmeister to develop this 350 kWh Iontron electric 12 m eMixer, capable of 100km or 8 hours of operation.
Nearby was this Renault D Wide 6×2 rigid chassis is fitted with a TVS Interfleet 6m E-Mixer, created by the Cambridgeshire specialist firm. Engagement is through touch screen (in cab and at end of chassis/bottle) and also through a hand held remote pad.

Under the warm sunshine, both visitors and exhibitors had a great first day experience exploring a wide array of vehicles, products, and services offered by 224 exhibitors.
