Hydrogen light commercial vehicles moved a step closer to reality at the World Hydrogen Summit  & Exhibition held at Rotterdam’s Ahoy venue on May 9-11, with HYVIA offering the first customer test drives of its Renault Master Van H2-Tech. The joint venture company, a collaboration between Renault Group and Plug Power dedicated to hydrogen mobility, is now taking orders from customers in France and The Netherlands for its fuel cell powered vehicle, with sales in a number of other markets expected to follow shortly.

The World Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition, organised by the Sustainable Energy Council, is an event dedicated to bringing together governments and leading companies within the Hydrogen domain to establish partnerships and set key priorities to scale up hydrogen deployment. Returning to the Rotterdam venue in 2023, it featured around 350 exhibitors from all sections of the Hydrogen industry, and and an extensive range of presentations from industry experts. Over 11,500 visitors attended the two day event, with participants hailing it a major success.

A full review of the HYVIA Renault Master Van H2-Tech will feature in the forthcoming issue of Fleet Transport magazine.
