The exhibition, staged from October 28 to 5 November, is the successor of the biennial Tokyo Motor Show, hosted by Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association at Tokyo Big Sight exhibition grounds.

FUSOs stand, featuring the slogan Future Together, refers to the brands contribution to sustainability. Among the highlights exhibited by the Daimler Truck owned brand was the unveil of the fully remodelled heavy-duty Super Great truck, FUSOs Next Generation eCanter with tipper body and power take-off device (ePTO), together with a refuse truck application. In addition, FUSO and Ample Inc. showcased the latest eCanter model with a swappable battery module and a swapping station.

The new Super Great is sharing the platform with Daimler Truck heavy-duty trucks and is equipped with the 6R30 high-performance 12.8L engine, which is based on the OM471 engine and produced in Mannheim, Germany.

The new FUSO Super Great comes with an updated cab design to improve aerodynamics. Its new high roof provides a significantly expanded interior space for an improved driving experience.

Alas, FUSO Super Great is not available in the European marketplace.
