Patrick Monaghan, Transport Manager, MSc Supply Chain Management & Logistics (Candidate) at the University of Hull is seeking assistance in a research project, with participation in a transport survey.
He explains: “I’m currently undertaking postgraduate research with the University of Hull examining HGV fleet owner and operator perceptions of freight decarbonisation pathways in the Republic of Ireland. The study focuses on the real-world feasibility of options such as electrification, hydrogen, biofuels/HVO and operational optimisation under current cost and infrastructure constraints.”
Patrick has prepared a short anonymous survey (approximately 10 minutes). It would be a significant help in gathering a broad cross-section of industry perspectives.
Patrick will share a summary of findings once the research is complete.
