The Confederation of Passenger Coaches (CPT) in the UK offered some interesting facts on social media recently

    • 12% of the UK adult population used a coach for a holiday, day trip or private hire in the 12 months before the Coronavirus 2020 Lockdown and 40% of these were over 55 years of age. Without coaches many might not have the opportunity to travel, stay connected and create new memories.
    • Every year, air pollution causes up to 36,000  deaths in the UK. More people choosing coach travel would contribute to improved air quality, but to play a part in the green recovery operators need support from Government.

If these figures are similar in Ireland, then the future looks good for the Bus & Coach sectors.
